This shopping mall is one of the most famous and prestigious in Paris. It is not as popular as the tourist attractions that I mentioned before like the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre museum, but it is definitely worth to visit it.

Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dior, and many other fashion and beauty brands are present in the mall.

However, people do not only go there to shop. On the top floor there are cafes and restaurants, but the highlight for tourists is to go up to the terrace from where you have a panoramic view of Paris.

Christmas time is approaching and that is when the decoration of the Galeries Lafayette is really worth to be seen.

Palace of Versailles

If you are in Paris, you cannot miss the opportunity to visit the Palace of Versailles and its gardens. It is located just 19km away from the city. Getting there is very easy, you just need to take the train line C of the RER, which is the one that connects Versailles with Paris. Most of the people come to paris for only a few days, usually on weekends, and let me tell you that this is enough time to visit the most touristic places of the city.
