PSG Paris Saint-Germain

Going to the PSG stadium, "Le Parc des Princes" was a really wonderful, unique and totally worthwhile experience. Especially after so long without having attended an event due to the pandemic, the feelings of excitement and adrenaline were great. Seeing so many people, all celebrating the sport and watching so many soccer stars play together was definitely an experience that I will never forget and one that I recommend doing if you have the option to do so. Palace of Versailles

If you are in Paris, you cannot miss the opportunity to visit the Palace of Versailles and its gardens. It is located just 19km away from the city. Getting there is very easy, you just need to take the train line C of the RER, which is the one that connects Versailles with Paris. If you have your Navigo pass for the week, or weekend, which normally works in the 5 zones, you don't need to buy an extra ticket, but if not, it will cost you 3,65€ per trip. European residents under 26 years old can enter the palace for free and if there are no events in the gardens they can also visit them for free, otherwise the cost of the tickets is 18€ per adult for the museum and 10€ for the gardens. It is definitely worth to visit, it is a palace full of history, which has been extremely well preserved throughout the years. The gardens are truly wonderful and huge, they are a kind of labyrinth in which you can spend hours walking around. This Palace is one of the largest and most famous palaces in...

Food in Paris!

Paris not only stands out as the city of light and love, as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, it also stands out for its gastronomy. Many people visit the city just to try some of the typical dishes of the region, and if you are planning to visit the city, make a bucket list of the dishes you should try in Paris. Here you can find my list of some typical dishes, I already tried or I will do it soon. For breakfast: Croissants, Pain au chocolat, Omelette and a good coffee.  For lunch , while walking in the city or resting in a Parisian park: the typical Paninis, filled with ham and cheese, with chicken, beef and other ingredients.  For the meal : an Onion soup as a starter, without a doubt my favorite dish. you must try it! followed by a Croque Madame or Monsieur, Ratatouille or a Duck à l'orange. If you like something more exotic you can try Escargots snails, or the Oysters.  And as for desserts , there is a tremendous variety, but my favorite ones are Crème ...

Here you can enter the church for free and if you want to go up to the dome and viewpoint of the church, where you also have a panoramic view of the city, it costs 7€ per adult.  Once you have visited the church, you can walk through the lovely streets of Montmartre , which are full of restaurants, souvenir stores, art stores and bakeries. The atmosphere is truly beautiful.  After strolling through Montmartre you can continue down the hill until you reach the Moulin Rouge , the most famous cabaret in Paris, where you can take pictures in front of its pretty facade or even attend a performance where the tickets start at 78 €.  Then you continue down to the Opera - Palais Garnier , if you enter havi...

Galeries Lafayette

This shopping mall is one of the most famous and prestigious in Paris. It is not as popular as the tourist attractions that I mentioned before like the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre museum, but it is definitely worth to visit it.  Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dior, and many other fashion and beauty brands are present in the mall.  However, people do not only go there to shop. On the top floor there are cafes and restaurants, but the highlight for tourists is to go up to the terrace from where you have a panoramic view of Paris.  Christmas time is approaching and that is when the decoration of the Galeries Lafayette is really worth to be seen.   Please follow me  on  Instagram  and  Facebook .

You can start the tour and take the metro to the Georg V station, so you can walk a few meters along the Champs Elysées until you reach the Arc de Triomphe , you can spend a couple of minutes there, take pictures and appreciate how big and beautiful it is. Afterwards you can walk along the Av. Kléber, along this avenue there are several cafés where you can have breakfast starting for about 8 euros per person. You walk until you reach the Trocadero , from where the view of the Eiffel tower is spectacular. It is one of the best places to appreciate the it.
